Life lab

On this “what’s the meaning of life” mind game, I remember what Sister Flanagan said in Latin class: If we were made in the image and likeness of the Divine (ok, she didn’t say it exactly like this)–how has It been described up to now in Genesis?  As a creator.  We are to be creators.

This makes Shakespeare and Galileo and Marie Curie and the person who figured out those post-its (NOT Romy & Michelle) and all of us who make it through a day, find shelter and manifest something to move through–as Divine.

Nature creates.  Since we’re in this cause & effect pattern, we see it as linear growth, but it is as deep into other dimensions as it is rooted in the earth and stretching to the sky.  So today with the help of whatever started us all off, I create.  I breathe, eat and take in all the rich resources around me, from scooter to water, soak up all the nourishment for creation, overflow out to feed the world and let go of anything that I don’t need.

Even that spiritual scat will be lovingly absorbed by this precious blue-green globe on the far edge of a small galaxy just left of the center of the universe.  I reach out and tickle the Prime Creator with glee.
