All that is has essence–meaning more than the sum of its parts–and continuum of being at one. Everything I see has a story of where it came from, motivation behind it, purported future, all connected. Plus a very popular theory that makes sense to me is there is more here than meets the eye.
It is hard to contemplate that we are little ant-like creatures on the third planetary blob from a mid-sized sun at the edge of a small galaxy in modest universe. If we can imagine it, we create it, even if it is just creating a story about fairy rings or dinosaurs or robots or the end of the world. And much of that is true, but many of you can’t see them with your unbelieving eyes.
Essence and continuum is all I have seen lately. Today it was the wave of humanity enjoying a fair: the meaning behind varieties of food–pleasure; the thrill of being tossed around–feel fear safely; and the scores and scores of astounding handicrafts and amateur art–creative inspiration and appreciation. What is the deeper meaning of the Human Cannonball man? Striving to push ourselves higher and faster to the roar of the small crowd? Clearly the deeper meaning of the Mutton Ride was for parents to enjoy their children pushing their limits to grip, hold and stay on a ewe twice their size for six seconds for the silver belt buckle–this is about achievement.
Spirit plays being human, and one of the treasured gifts She gave me today was the tasty treat of an elephant ear. You just can’t get them like this in heaven.
