Uploading

Every morning I want to upload a new version of me.  Prettier from the inside out, confident, clear and maybe even on time.  HA.  I want myself to automatically update all my programs the minute I get out of bed.

But updates always seem to work differently, some have bugs and take getting used to after the old version is such a habit.  The real question is: what do I want to be, upgraded and all?  What do I want any improved me to be?  It’s a very good question, because often the fact is I don’t really care.  I’m content to sit in a messy room reading a junk book that simply distracts me with action, or watch a movie I’ve seen hundreds of times just to re-live some one else’s story.

I’m new today.  I claim differences in myself.  I walk taller, consider unique actions, unused phrases and dance a new dance.  Let’s pick a new god–how about the Green Man!  The nymph of the woods, the grass twirling, daffodil decked, leaves as hair, horned elk-man.  Strong and ready to carry me through a new spring of me.
